All Hallow’s Eve is upon us
If you're new here, you might wanna check our FAQ. The surefire way to stay up to date is to subscribe to our RSS feed, or get the latest updates from the Lab in your Email. Thanks for visiting Burst Labs!
Halloween is almost here, and though we know most of you have wrapped up your ghoulish productions a while back, there are more than a few of you who are finding our site this week by searching for Halloween Production Music and Sound Effects.
Most of those searches also, of course, include the word ‘free’ among the search terms… while we’re not a ‘royalty-free music library,’ nor do we typically offer our music without sync fees (though we do for certain clients - check our FAQ), we always appreciate people stopping by and checking out our music and sound design.
And good news for you web searchers… we do offer a free download package of evil effects produced here at Burst HQ, and released under a Creative Commons License.
The download pak also includes a single hip hop track, Smokin’ Mirrors, from our production music library release The Boogeyman Cometh. The song is creepy in a Scooby Doo sorta way… more Freddie Jones than Freddy Krueger. If you want depravity, immorality and hellish destruction, there are some tracks on The Boogeyman Cometh that are murderously evil and truly NSFW.
And in the spirit of fiendish fun, check out the new Allmusic Blog’s post on Scary Hair Metal Movies For Rocktober. Ahhh, a music blog after our own heart… nice to see we’re not the only ones who appreciate hairbands and metal of the 1980s. [dh]
